Friends of the Parks teamed up with Jane’s Walk Chicago and Friends of Downtown to offer a slew of FREE park and neighborhood tours across Chicago as part of the international Jane’s Walk weekend event. Based on the philosophies of Jane Jacobs, Jane’s Walks are walking conversations that get people to explore their cities and connect with their communities.

There were park tours in all kinds of cool places all over the city, from the Dunning Read Conservation Area to The 606 to Jackson Park at night to the DuSable Heritage corridor to the Pullman National Monument to Ping Tom Park, and more!
