Friends of the Parks is Chicago’s Best Friend. We didn’t get to be that by accident, but by dedicated work helping people preserve, protect and improve their local park.
If you like parks – and who doesn’t like parks? – we encourage you to get involved with Friends of the Parks and your local advisory council.
Your involvement in our mission will not only help us to carry on our more than 34 years of park advocacy and protection, but can provide a way for your own neighborhood park to flourish from that special attention that only a committed volunteer can bring.
