National Public Lands Day

Volunteers are needed for a greening project near you!!!!

Join in the nation's largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance public lands. Celebrate National Public Lands Day with Friends of the Parks by cleaning and greening your neighborhood parks or local forest preserve!

Current sites include:

Garfield Park (100 N. Central Park)

Gompers Park (4222 W. Foster)

Whistler Woods (134th & Halsted)
