Forming an Advisory Council

Within the city of Chicago there are more than 500 parks that need a little TLC. In many Chicago parks there are Park Advisory Councils (PACs) working diligently to keep their parks clean and safe. They organize cleanups, programs and host events. They are instrumental in making sure their parks are taken care of by the Chicago Park District. In those parks lacking PACs advocates are needed to help their parks.  If you are interested in forming a PAC in your local park there are a few guidelines established by the Chicago Park District to help get you started.
