Long-Time Friends of the Parks’ President, Erma Tranter, Moving on in 2014
After 33 years as President of Friends of the Parks, Erma Tranter will be stepping down from this position at the end of the year. Erma has been a tireless defender and devoted steward of parks and open space in Chicago. Through her work, she has truly contributed to the quality of the city we live in today. Erma will be missed as Friends of the Parks continues to engage Chicagoans and improve our city’s parks.
